Roll Call

Maybe you haven’t noticed, well of course you haven’t noticed, who looks at the address bar anymore, besides me. My blog has moved to its new domain name, ThinkingOutLoudBlog.com. It’s true, I posted a public service announcement about it last night. If you clicked over, did you notice the name, it’s different.  Please let me know that you made the transition over here safely by commenting “present” when your name is called.  (That means leave me a comment).

So on my closed blog, I said I had a very important question to ask. Here goes: “What’s your favorite word?” I stumbled upon a website that said everybody has a favorite word and I thought hey that’s true, but who ever asks that question.  Well I’m asking, what’s your favorite word. My favorite word, well I have more than one, is loquacious.  I also fancy verbose, incognito, enigmatic, inconsequential, just to name a few.  I don’t use any one of those words daily when a simpler word will do, I use them on special occasion. I like their pronunciation.

    I just found your blog. I am like you I don’t write anything I have to hide. But my life is an open book I love sharing the changes that God is making in my life and I hope that in my doing that, changes will happen for other folk too. My favorite word is “whosoever” In the Bible (KJV) it is used alot and it has a very deep meaning to me because it includes me.
    You have a nice blog and I like the way you write.

    My favorite word is “thanks”. I don’t know why. Actually I don’t have any favorite words at all but that’s all I could ever think of. I never though of favoriting a word….

    well then thanks bryan. i love words and can’t think of not having a favorite one.

    Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I have thought many times about my favorite words. That’s too funny that other people think about things I thought I was the only one thinking about. I love the word SASSAFRASS and I never have occasion to use it. :-)

    Also I love BRIGADIER, As in Brigadier General. (I love to say it but can’t spell it.) I like many words that derive from France.

    hello Valerie, so nice to see you again. hmmm, will have to look those words up. which reminds me, i have a post to write before i’m done here that includes all of these words. i hope i can, should be interesting…oh and fun.
