I think, nope, I know I would have told my kid, "This is an example of consequences. Next time you take Max out you'll remember this night of missing him and you'll look for him before you leave." However, your kid probably won't write a tell-all book about you 25 years from now, like my kids probably will. Glad to hear Max is safe and sound! Wow, you are one tough monkey, lady.
