I.E. vs. Firefox
Have you made the switch? I find myself using Firefox’s browser more and more these days. In fact, I don’t even open IE unless, out of habit, I click on it by mistake or it automatically opens because I haven’t selected Firefox as my default. Something weird.
I remember when Firefox was new and everybody was making the switch from I.E. to a “safer” browser, but I wasn’t ready for that kind of change. For a while I dabbled with Netscape, also finding that to be a pretty cool browser, but eventually went back to I.E.
I like my Firefox browser and although I’m still new to some of its features and add-ons, I think I’ve found a winner! I know I’m a little slow, but eventually I get there. Too, I feel it’s time for a change, but I’m not ready to make Google my home page, just yet. I still love Yahoo!
Which browser are you currently using?

I only use IE to check my site and make sure it looks good in IE.
According to firestats on my blog:
* Internet Explorer Internet Explorer 40.5%
* Mozilla Firefox Mozilla Firefox 20.1%

really, that’s interesting. IE still has a following. I wonder if that’s by default. not that IE is bad, but FF has made many things easier for me, especially with passwords.
so then you are using FireFox?

I use Firefox all the time. Always have – between that and Safari, but normally Firefox. I haven’t used IE in years – except from work because I don’t have a choice. By the way, I love that image you posted! Too funny.

I am a fan of Firefox. Recently I tried using K-Meleon, it is based on Mozilla Firefox but takes less memory. Didn’t like it though.

I am 100% fireox user. Except for when I am in my lame office. I am forced to use Internet Explorer…. ugh.

I just started using Firefox when I took the Thirty Day Challenge in Aug. 2007. Before that I didn’t know much about setting it up and using it to its full advantage. Now that I’ve got it customized to my needs, I’ll never go back to IE. Well, almost never. If I have to check my email at the library they use IE, so I’m stuck with it there.

Hi Valerie,
I stumbled onto firefox by accident. i was trying to download something and it said for better results use firefox so i did. then read up on it..and i primarily use firefox. the drawback was, when i go to new sites i have to keep downloading “plug ins.” it’s been about 3 days and i guess it’s updated cuz i haven’t downloaded plug ins in that time.
i also like if it shuts down–I LOSE NOTHING! which is great when blogging…or doing homework. so i’m a new firefox fan!
informative blog!
